What Makes Miss River Valley Scholarship Organization Different?
Entirely volunteer-run, ensuring that resources are focused directly on supporting young women rather than on administrative overhead.
Personal mentorship by leaders with legal, real estate, and community-building backgrounds provides practical guidance beyond just scholarship funds.
Strong local focus in the Twin Cities area, targeting the unique needs and challenges young women face in this community.
Emphasis on leadership, community service, and talent development alongside academic achievement creates well-rounded scholarship recipients.
Deep commitment to providing not just financial support but also real opportunities for service, networking, and skill-building—empowering young women for college, careers, and civic life.
Culture of inclusivity and accessibility, open to all backgrounds and welcoming volunteers from various professions to contribute their unique skills and perspectives.
Visible, engaged leadership team—board and volunteers are highly involved in both operations and event support, ensuring a personal, supportive environment.

Our Board & Volunteers
We are completely run by volunteers, without these people, we would not get to mentor the amazing women involved.
